On September 22, HelpAlliance invited to the anniversary celebrations at the Lufthansa Training & Conference Center in Seeheim. More than 450 guests came to spend a very entertaining, and thanks to generous sponsors’ donations (PDF, 1.5MB) of raffle prizes, a very exciting evening. Besides culinary-delights and cocktails for a good cause, a varied entertainment program was presented. Parts of the show were performed by Lufthansa’s own staff.

As part of the festivities Sabine Weber, who supported HelpAlliance fervently for many years, handed over the patronage to Bettina Lauer, wife of Stefan Lauer, member of the Executive Board of the group.
Wolfgang Mayrhuber, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, recognised in his speech the work of HelpAlliance and thanked the Lufthansa staff for their dedicated and altruistic support.
The big attendance at the festivities and the positive feedback of the participants strengthens the valour to continue the task of providing “Help for Self-help” for the poorest of the poor with dedication.
