Lufthansa reports about humanitarian activities
"Balance 2007", Lufthansa’s report on the most important topics of sustainability informs by means of the article „Miles to Help“ about the activities of HelpAlliance related with the Tsunami and also communicates the results of the on- board collection „Small change – it’s a big help“.
Miles & More members do not have to walk for miles to donate the said. Just a simple click on www.miles-and-more.com allows to give efficient help where it is needed.
Starting November 2006 it is possible to support HelpAlliance with the program “Miles to Help”. The amount of money collected by now is overwhelming. Under the column “Social Commitment“ the new edition of Balance reports starting page 77 on how the award miles give wings to aid projects.
On page 83 information about the Tsunami activities of HelpAlliance can be found. Also a summary of the development of the onboard collection “Small change – it’s a big help” is not missing in the report.
