Since the founding of HelpAlliance in the year 1999, the charitable organization “Family Singers – Children help Children” collaborates with many Lufthansa employees working on projects to reduce poverty and help people in need. So far HelpAlliance donations have enabled “Family Singers” to send more than 20 transports with relief aid to Rumania. This is equivalent to about 400 metric tons.
In Mumbai, India, it was possible to alleviate the long-term effects of patients in so-called Polio-Camps with the assistance of HelpAlliance. To this day, Polio is a widespread disease in India.
The „Care for Kids” facility in Zambia houses children who lost their parents and gives them an opportunity to receive an education, fulfill an apprenticeship, or get experience in the agricultural industry on the property’s farm. Important on the spot help is given through container deliveries. In addition, HelpAlliance pays for teachers’ salaries and covers the expenses of conversion and reconstruction of buildings.
